The NASA Mission Control Center is the main mission control for Martian activities. The Mission Control Center was the commanding center for Ares I, II, III, V, VI, and VII. The mission control center is also the control center for the Hermes space station. In emergency situations, this center can override Hermes controls, and take over flight operations. The Control Center is also where NASA controlled Martian satellites to keep an eye on the Ares III mission sight during the Ares III extended mission and rescue.
